Shamawd Chambers is a distinguished former professional football player, Grey Cup champion, and the visionary founder of Out The Chamber Sports. His impressive career began with a standout college performance that led him to the Philadelphia Eagles' rookie camp. That same year, he was drafted by the Edmonton Elks (formerly Eskimos) in the first round of the CFL Draft after being a top tester at the CFL Combine, where he held the 40-yard dash record of 4.41 seconds for several years.
During his CFL career, Chambers made significant contributions, including being named Edmonton's Rookie of the Year in 2012 and Most Outstanding Canadian in 2013. He reached a career peak in 2015 as a Grey Cup champion and was honored as the Most Valuable Canadian in that year’s Grey Cup. Becky Tyler
Power Skating & Pilates Instructor, BA (Hons) Kinesiology & Health Science
Former World Champion in Synchronized Skating, Becky decided to trade in her toe picks for hockey skates shortly after she closed out her amateur career. Becky’s self-proclaimed coaching style as a “Movement Educator” is what sets her apart from the rest, adding both Barre & Restorative Pilates, and Performance Stretch Therapist to her list of athletic certifications. The combination of knowledge between skating mechanics and recovery makes her a great source of information for both our elite hockey players and adult members alike. She focuses on how athletes can master specific techniques first and takes on a “skills before drills” approach to her teaching. Her passion and drive for anything she applies herself toward are evident both on and off the ice.
